The Newton Branding Task Force has announced its schedule for a series of free upcoming Social Media Lunch and Learn programs set throughout 2014.
The series is designed to assist local businesses become savvy on the use of a variety of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and others.
Instructors from Brand Driven Digital will train attendees on the best practices for brand building and online communication. Ample time for questions is provided.
The next Social Media Lunch and Learn is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Newton Development Corporation on the DMACC campus. Topics for the session will include an overview of the social scene and when to use what medium, as well as best practices for scheduling posts.

Future Social Media Lunch and Learn sessions will be held the third Thursday of the month. February's topics include Facebook for business and paid social advertising. The tentative schedule is as follows:
