Fourteen teenagers have now been cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age after Jasper County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to the residence of the president of the PCM School District Sunday night on a report of an underage drinking party.
Sheriff deputies were dispatched to 8347 S. 80th Ave. W., the home of Mark and Jean Jennings, at 11:45 p.m. Sunday after receiving an anonymous report of juveniles drinking alcohol at the property. Jean Jennings is the president of the PCM school board.
Six juveniles, four girls and two boys, were cited for underage alcohol possession, the sheriff's office reported, as well as four 18 year olds: Koy A Vanderleest of Prairie City, Hannah C. Vignovich of Runnells, Nathaniel J. Vandewall, of Prairie City and Colten Jenkins of Monroe.
Late this afternoon the Jasper County Sheriff's Office released the names of four more 18-year-old individuals cited for possession of alcohol by a person 18 to 20 years of age at the underage drinking party: David J. Jennings of Prairie City, Brandon M. Beener of Monroe, Alexander C. DeWitte of Prairie City and Mikayla J. Wilhite of Reasnor
Sheriff's deputies found the juveniles in possession of beer, vodka and other liquor, to which they admitted drinking.
No other citations were issued.
