Lt. Ron Cook presents Jason Cupples with his certificate as the drawing winner in the Newton Police Department's Travelin' Traffic Ace XVI second traffic safety mug distribution. Cupples was observed as having safe driving skills and wearing a seatbelt. As the drawing winner, Cupples receives a package of donated prizes from Cardinal Lanes, Valle Drive-In, Perkins, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Giovanni's, Taco John's, Godfather's, Subway and Culver's. The campaign features a travel mug awarded by a police officer to drivers displaying safe driving skills. The travel mugs if refillable with free fountain soda pop by local participating businesses. The campaign runs June through August.
