Letter: It's the wrong color

To the Newton Independent:

I have driven past the wonderful Cardinal in the foreground of the Newton Senior High building. It's large, well done and THE WRONG COLOR!

In my years in Newton, I always have seen the Cardinal in its full glory of RED!

I think that a large, RED, Cardinal in front of our school would truly say, "be proud, it's NEWTON CARDINAL COUNTRY!"

At this time, it's just a big thing standing there for some reason.
