The Newton YMCA Child Care staff will be hosting an open house on Thursday, July 19, at the newly remodeled child care facilities located at Y's main campus, 1701 S. 8th Ave. E.
Staff will welcome the public and families interested in enrolling their children in the YMCA child care program. The open house is set to run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tours, refreshments and door prizes will be available.
The YMCA is also hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in conjunction with the open house. The book fair will rrun from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17 and 18 and from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 19.
