Newton council committee to look at city staffing changes

Newton Independent

A subcommittee of the Newton City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, following the special meeting of the council to discuss a loan agreement with the Iowa Speedway, to discuss staffing changes.

The Employee Relations Committee will discuss staffing changes in the administration and community development departments and then vote to make a recommendation for full council consideration.

No report was released about the proposed changes.
