Local DAR chapter to meet Saturday

Newton Independent

The Grinnell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet for coffee beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Centre for Art & Artists, 501 W. 3rd St. N., in Newton.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a program by Ann Goodrich on "Outstanding Women." Marilyn Planer is this month's hostess.

Anyone interested in joining the DAR is welcome to attend the meeting or may contact Darlene Leib at 641-792-0174 for more information.
