Local DAR to meet Saturday

Newton Independent

The Grinnell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Centre for Arts and Artists, 501 W. 3rd St. N., in Newton.

The regular meeting is set to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Hostess Pat Beckham and Merna Rusk will furnish sandwiches. Those attending are asked to bring their own table service and a covered dish for sharing.

Anyone interested in join DAR can attend or call Darlene Leib at 641-792-0174.
