To the Newton Independent:
I want to express my gratitude to all those who turned out and voted in the primaries. I appreciated the support of many people who have been involved with my candidacy. The primary elections are an important part of the election process.
As we look towards the general election in November, I ask for your continued support as I seek the office of Sheriff of Jasper County. While the sheriff's office is a professional organization, I believe that I can continue to improve our services to the citizens of Jasper County.
I will continue to work with communities and various groups within the county to create a safe and more efficient service. Sheriff Balmer has been a mentor in my tenure as Chief Deputy. He has allowed me to set the foundation for my own ideas and vision for the future of how we will serve you and those who visit this great county.
