The Beukema family will be selling 262 acres of farmland adjacent to the Iowa Speedway at a public auction set for 10:30 a.m. July 9 at the DMACC Conference Center Auditorium in Newton.
The unimproved land, which has been in the Beukema family for more than 60 years, is being offered in five tracts ranging in size from 6.8 to 110 acres. The highest bidder(s) will initially have the choice of any tract or tracts with the remaining tracts being offered until all have been sold. If the initial biddeer opts to buy all the tracts the sale will be finished.
The land is being auctioned by Midwestern Land & Auction of Mapleton. Details of the sale can be found here.
The Beukema property is not the only property being offered for sale near the Iowa Speedway.
