Garbage/recycling collection days change next week due to holiday

Newton Independent

City of Newton officials are reminding residents of the changes to the garbage and recyling collection times due to next week's Fourth of July holiday.

With the landfill closed on Wednesday, those residents with regular trash and recycling collections on Wednesday will be moved back to Thursday.

Those with regular Thursday as their regular collection day will have their trash and recycling collected on Friday next week.
