Flooring Gallery closes

Newton Independent

The Flooring Gallery store in Newton, along with the other store locations across the state, abruptly closed this week.

News reports out of Des Moines indicate customers have been filing complaints about the chain's sudden closure with the state's consumer protection office.

The report also says employee checks have recently bounced.
