Museum closed for Memorial Day

Newton Independent

The Jasper County Historical Museum will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

The museum will reopen at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The museum season runs from May 1 through Sept. 30. Tour hours are 1 to 5 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 4 p.m.

The price of admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Admission for Jasper County Historical Museum members is free. Individual memberships may be purchased for $10 and family memberships are $20.

Tours for 10 or more may be arranged in advance by calling the museum at 641-792-9118.
