Iowa Speedway Ministries will begin the new race season with a kickoff meeting for all volunteers and chaplains at 7 p.m. Monday, April 16, in the Newton Club at the Speedway.
Volunteers greet race fans work from the Ministries' informational booth, greet races fans and offer free materials, such as Bibles and temporary tattoos for children. In addition, volunteers drive ADA golf cart shuttles for race fans needing assistance. Volunteers are encouraged to purchase an Iowa Speedway Ministries shirt to wear while working.
There are five race weekends where volunteers are needed this year, May 19-20, June 22-23, July 13-14, Aug. 3-4 and Sept. 14-15.
All interested adults are invited to attend Monday's meeting to learn more.
