Greg Heartsill, Republican candidate for the new Iowa House District 28, will attend a meet and greet on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Stoneypoint Barn, 3241 Ranch Ave., near Reasnor.
Heartsill will address those attending the gathering, which begins at 6:30 p.m., on the issues facing Iowa and then take questions. Dessert and coffee will be served.
Heartsill, a Marion County businessman, is a candidate on the Republican ballot for the June 5 primary election. The new House District 28 encompasses four townships in southern Jasper County including the communities of Reasnor, Monroe, Lynnville and Sully, as well as nearly all of Marion County, except Pella, and the eastern half of Lucas County.
He will hold a similar event beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville.
