A press release issued by the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement (MINE) Drug Task Force indicates that the operator of the Kellogg Country Store was also targeted in the undercover drug operation targeting the sale of synthetic marijuana.
In addition to charges filed against the operator of the Petro Stop in Newton, the MINE task force filed four counts of possession and/or possession with intent to deliver a synthetic cannabinoid, aggravated misdemeanors, against Jarnail Manhani, 58, after more than 130 grams of the synthetic marijuana was found at the convenience store following a search on Tuesday.
Undercover officers made three purchases of the synthetic cannabinoid, which is marketed as potpourri and incense, at the Kellogg Country Store before executing a search warrant on Tuesday.
