Letter: Is there no other solution?

To the Newton Independent:

What a sad, sad situation. Money is scarce so state and local governments are all looking to cut their budgets. Schools and teachers are on the chopping block and it is a sad thing to see.

Everyone says that they love their children and how important their education is yet when money is scarce up go the schools and teachers on the chopping block. Is there no other solution?
