Former Gov. Terry Branstad plans to bring his Iowa Comeback Tour to Newton on Friday with a stop at Uncle Nancy's Coffeehouse on the downtown square.

The former governor plans to stop at the Newton coffee shop at 1:30 p.m. Friday after a morning stop in Washington.

Branstad plans to file his nomination papers with the Iowa Secretary of State's Office in Des Moines at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
