Today's free H1N1 flu shot clinic cancelled

The free H1N1 vaccine clinic previously scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. today has been canceled due to the weather.

The next clinic will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the lower level of the Ross Medical Arts Building, 300 N. 4th Ave. E.

The H1N1 vaccinations will be given on a first-come, first-served basis and will be administered by nurses from the Jasper County Public Health Nursing Service/Skiff Home Care.

Eligibility requirements for the vaccines have been lifted by the Iowa Department of Public Health allowing all members of the public to now receive the vaccination.
