Culver grilled at Newton stop

WHO-TV was wondering what the purpose was of Gov. Chet Culver's stop at the Jasper County Courthouse on Thursday, something the governor wasn't fully able to explain.

Culver stopped in Newton Thursday afternoon to tout the $700,000 in I-JOBS funding area cities and the county received for roadway projects as part of a three-city east central Iowa tour.

But WHO was wondering what new information the governor had to offer since the announcement of those awards was made six months ago.

Watch how the governor handled the questioning.
