Bob Campbell, director of quality management at Skiff Medical Center, will leave the position he's held at the city-owned hospital since 1995 to take a similar post at Spencer Hospital in northwest Iowa.
Hospital officials in Spencer said Campbell has accepted the position of Quality Services Director and will begin his new duties at the hospital Jan. 4.
During his tenure at Skiff, Campbell was in charge of overseeing functions related to quality, risk management and patient safety.
A graduate of William Penn University, Campbell is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality, the Institute for Quality Healthcare and the Iowa Quality Center. He also previously served on the Beacon Housing and Capstone Behavioral Healthcare boards in Newton.
