The Newton Independent has confirmed that the three nurse supervisors at Skiff Medical Center that earlier this week were demoted to part-time, overnight status have regained their positions at the city-owned hospital.
On Wednesday, the three nurses, with nearly 80 years of experience at Skiff, were told they could accept 18 hour a week positions on the overnight shift or leave employment with Skiff and not be eligible for severance.
The nurses were told late this morning that they would retain their positions effectively immediately.
